This demo is amazing. It really gives a good enough feel of the game , and it shows you whether your PC can run this 
this game is NOT so heavy . I have an Core 2 Quad Q6600 , 2 GB RAM , and a Geforce 9400 GT . i can play it with everything on maximum , and i get great framerates
oh , and the speed is fantastic . I definitely recommend this
